The self catering ski Chalet
The ski chalet is a traditional Haute Savoyard Alpine chalet which dates back to the 18th century and has been recently renovated in the Alpine style.The chalet is situated above La Chapelle d’Abondance in France up near the Swiss border.The chalet is music box like with magnificent views over the village and the slopes opposite.
The chalet has a cosy rustic feel, the large comfortable living room has a large log fire burner and mezzanine that surrounds the room that seats 10 guests. The quaint kitchen dining room has Alpine wooden beams in wood clad which is well equipped with a cooking range.The six large bedrooms have views of the valley and are done in Alpine decor. The chalet holds up to 12 people.

The Alpine kitchen has low beams and wooden clad with a beautiful cooking range that is well equipped for catering for groups, there is a long country table that seats 12 people easy.

The chalet is only 3 minutes drive from the nursery slopes in the village,
it is also possible to ski down to the gondola from the chalet which takes 6 minutes on skis.

The peace of the surrounding mountains and views give you a feeling of well being.
We challenged the chalet with our children and exended family of all ages.
All our little extra needs were met with charm which was the highlight of our holiday and the ski area on your door step.
